Our client is excited to be recruiting for a Skilled Fitter to be based within their engineering team at their low Voltage switchgear facility in Boldon Colliery. The facility designs and manufactures HV/LV packaged substations, low voltage electrical switchboards, power distribution units, motor control panels, and final power distribution and control equipment that are type tested and verified to BSEN.
Role Responsibilities:
Build modular steelwork systems. Installation of electrical components (e.g., circuit breakers & fuse-switches). Wiring of electrical power components and control panels. Inspect & record your work activities. Attend and contribute to regular team briefings. Assist in the company's safety efforts by maintaining a good level of housekeeping and always considering health & safety. Experience Requirements:
Ability to read Electrical Schematics diagrams. Skilled in the use of hand & power tools. Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision. NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent.
