We are seeking a skilled Domestic Electrician to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires expertise in both power and hand tools, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. The building is a secure institution therefore, a security check will need to be completed prior to starting work.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and techniques. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks to minimize risks associated with electrical work. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Experience
Proven experience as an Electrician. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to electrical work. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety standards. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work.
