Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician with a minimum of 2-3 years to join our dynamic team. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of low voltage systems, including Structured Data Cabling, Security Camera Systems, Building Access Control, and Audio/Video systems. Key Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage systems such as Ethernet structured cabling, fiber optic cabling, security camera systems, access control systems, and audio/video systems. Pull, terminate, dress, test, and label CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, and fiber data cables. Install and terminate racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, and firestopping. Set up and configure devices including CCTV systems, access control, and audio-visual equipment. Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of low voltage equipment. Diagnose and resolve technical issues with low voltage systems. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings. Install computer hardware and networking equipment. Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects efficiently. Provide field service support to customers as needed. Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete tasks. Experience Pays: Must have previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician to qualify for the sign-on bonus. Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and equipment. Familiarity with computer hardware and networking. Mechanical aptitude for equipment repair and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Requirements: Ability to manage multiple daily tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to climb into attics and lift moderate weight. Strong focus on customer service with the ability to manage and resolve issues. Ability to balance customer needs with company objectives. Ability to work independently, under pressure, and collaborate effectively within team settings. Highly organized and motivated. Additional Details: Must pass a security background check and have a clean, valid driver’s license. Ability to commute within Southeastern PA is required. Willingness to travel up to 25%.
