About the Role As a Skilled Vehicle Technician, you will: Diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to a high standard, covering our Ford and MG franchises. Conduct full vehicle inspections, including electronic vehicle health checks and videos. Carry out repairs and servicing aligned with manufacturer standards. Provide accurate summaries of works and procedures, ensuring first-time fixes. Communicate effectively with the service team to update on progress and completion. Uphold warranty repair standards and ensure safe, efficient use of workshop facilities. Offer technical advice to apprentices and non-technical staff. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a vehicle workshop, preferably with main dealer/franchise experience. Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ Level 3). Electric vehicle experience is a plus. A friendly and outgoing personality, with a customer-focused approach. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. A full and clean driving licence.
