About The Role **Please note this is a temporary role until 18 July 2025** As a Skills Practitioner at EKC Canterbury College, you will provide Learning/Technical support to staff and students within the Division and undertake assessment and quality assurance duties as required by the College and awarding bodies. In your role as a Skills Practitioner, you will liaise with internal and external customers/stakeholders as necessary, provide feedback to students that will aid successful progression and achievement, and manage stock control, including ordering and issuing of supplies. You will be organised and efficient with excellent communication skills and can facilitate learners on tasks. You will also provide demonstrations as required in class to aid the delivery of outstanding provision within EKC Group. You will have recent industrial experience in a relevant area. Ideally, you will have experience in education or involvement in training in the workplace. You will be able to work with young people to help them achieve their full potential, aligned with the culture and ethos of the Group. A Level 3 Chef qualification is essential. You will have a key responsibility for instilling and upholding strong Health & Safety standards in practical environments and will purchase resources and materials within budget.
