We are currently looking for a reliable and highly motivated individual to skipper our support vessel, the Nitrox. The vessel will provide valuable service across the Company’s seawater sites in Scotland. The role is challenging, but ultimately very rewarding and can lead to a variety of fulfilling career progression opportunities.

About the job The role is a crucial support for our operations team and ensures that the best management of our salmon is undertaken. We need our Skippers to strive for continuous improvement and deliver on all aspects of the role to ensure the team is on track and performing well. The job includes, but is not limited to: Assisting with sea lice treatments and net changing Carrying out sea lice treatments Maintaining the vessel to a high standard Ensuring bio-security records are kept up-to-date The ideal candidate will have an interest in the aquaculture industry and be willing to learn. They will be willing to expand their understanding and work hard on the job. The successful candidate will have: Appropriate certification for operating vessels up to 24 meters, both day and night RYA Commercial Endorsement or STCW certification IOSH Managing Safely Certification Net washing experience ML5 or ENG1 medical Flexibility to meet the demands of the job A positive approach to this type of work A valid driver's license is essential.
