My client is seeking a SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Auditor to join their team. In this role, you will ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards by conducting on-site and remote audits. You will play a key part in risk identification, regulation adherence, and driving continuous improvement within their operations. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, primarily based in the Greater Reading/Bristol area, with flexibility for remote work and occasional travel to sites across the South East. Key Responsibilities: Perform audits on health, safety, environment, and quality processes at project sites. Conduct risk assessments, identify non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal policies. Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and present actionable recommendations. Collaborate with project teams to implement and monitor corrective measures. Support the development of SHEQ management systems and promote best practices. Participate in incident investigations to determine root causes and prevent recurrence. Qualifications and Experience Required: Strong knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations, Environmental Compliance, and Quality Auditing Standards. Proven expertise in Risk Assessment and Management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting. Desirable Experience: Previous experience conducting audits in construction or refurbishment projects. Familiarity with safety protocols for fire-resistant and energy-efficient building systems. Certifications: Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Quality Management (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO Auditor certifications). Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred. What they Offer: Competitive salary based on experience.
