Our client, a leading contract manufacturer and AM service bureau, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. Based around the London region of UK, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising their stereolithography (SLA) machines utilised from 3D Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SLA machines to ensure optimal performance. Part Production and Quality Control:

Prepare, monitor, and post-process printed parts, adhering to strict quality standards. Process Optimization:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize print processes and improve output quality. Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions. Machine Setup and Calibration:

Configure and calibrate printers for new projects. Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions. Technical Support:

Provide technical support and training to team members. Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, print jobs, and inventory.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of SLA industrial technology and related AM processes. Mechanical and Electrical Skills:

Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance of SLA machines. Problem-Solving:

Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Quality Focus:

Commitment to delivering high-quality products and services. Communication Skills:

Effective communication with colleagues and customers. Travel Readiness:

Willingness to travel to multiple sites within Europe. CAD Proficiency:

Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
