Corrie Recruitment is now recruiting for Slingers for a temporary position for several large-scale long-term civil engineering, renewables, and roadworks projects across the North of Scotland. The sites are based in Orkney, Skye, Inverness, Peterhead, Dounreay, Argyll, and the surrounding areas.
The contracts primarily involve:
Earthworks
Drainage
Roadworks
Utility works
Ducting
Concrete work
A CSCS card and CPCS certification are essential for most of the projects, and payment is on a PAYE basis with good basic and overtime rates available.
NPORS certification may be accepted on some projects, and CIS payments may be an option in certain circumstances.
We would like to speak to candidates who are based locally to these areas, but for some projects, accommodation will be provided, so we are happy to speak to candidates on a Scotland-wide basis.
Shift rotations with long hours will be available on most of the contracts.
Not all projects have an immediate requirement, but most contracts will be ramping up steeply between January and Spring 2025, so we are keen to start speaking to interested candidates now.
D and A testing will be mandatory on all projects.
