Practice: Bishopton Veterinary Group LLP Bishopton Vets is an independently-owned and progressive veterinary practice which has been serving the local community for over 80 years. We have an exciting opportunity available in our small animal team, based across our Ripon hospital and our Northallerton and Thirsk surgeries. The role will involve all aspects of veterinary nursing (surgical, medical, and practice nursing) and includes an equal share of weekend and holiday cover of OOH duties. We have our own dedicated night team who cover the majority of weekday nights. Full-time and part-time applications are welcome. Our amazing team of nurses (RVN, SVN, and Auxiliary) support our 16 FTE small animal vets. We have a wealth of experience in the team, including nurses with additional qualifications in medical nursing, surgery, ECC, and physiotherapy. Our vets include Advanced Practitioners in medicine, surgery, and general practice. We encourage and fund personal development and want to help you grow and deliver your expanding skillset. The practice is well-equipped with a recently upgraded ultrasound scanner, video endoscopy, and (fortnightly) access to a visiting CT service. We have fully integrated internal lab facilities and separate dog, cat, and isolation facilities.
