Our client has a group of 6 practices in the Bournemouth area and they are now looking for an experienced vet to join them.
The clinic is home to a group of friendly and welcoming professionals based in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, East Dorset and the Isle of Purbeck. They have a long proud history of providing excellent veterinary care to the local community since 1849. The first practice was established in Wimborne and since then they have expanded into the local area with 5 further practices. In 2004 they moved from being a mixed practice to concentrate on pets, since then they have developed a reputation for their high standards of care and personal service.
This role is offered for a full-time or part-time Veterinary Surgeon who will primarily be based at two branches in the Bournemouth area. They welcome and encourage all flexible working requests including child-friendly hours. Standard full time involves working a 4-day week (same day off each week), with no out of hours cover as VetsNow are hosted in the main hospital. Saturday mornings are on a shared rota, 8.30am – 13.00pm only. The role will consist of some sole charge at a smaller branch surgery as well as working within a larger team. They pride themselves on their collaborative and supportive atmosphere led by their Advanced Practitioners and approachable team leaders.
