We are seeking a new vet with proven experience to join our friendly and supportive team. If you are looking for a progressive practice with a low vet turnover, supportive (and largely insured) client-base, and well-established caseloads, this could be the role for you.

We have a very well-equipped 3 site practice, with an ambitious and experienced team of vets and nurses alongside an excellent client care team. We regularly host veterinary students, are a well-established VN training practice, and support further training and development for all our staff. Several of our vets have certificates or are working towards them, and we are able to take certificate led referrals in surgery, cardiology, and endoscopy.

Our branches are superbly located, benefitting from easy access to Oxford, London, and the stunning Cotswold countryside.

We offer a flexible and consistent rota that can fit alongside life outside of work. No night work, inpatient checks, or Sundays. Bank holidays are less than one per year and are generously remunerated. A full-time role would consist of a 40 hour week over four days, but we are very happy to consider part-time hours. Saturdays are worked on a 1:3 rota.

Our focus is on doing the right thing for the animals and their owners, and to ensure that we can do this, we have minimum 20 minute consults (longer for complex ones) and 2 hours of protected admin time each day. We believe that this time allows us to build better relationships and perform excellent clinical work. Our staff's wellbeing is very important to us, and while we welcome feedback, good and bad, to help us improve, we operate a zero tolerance policy on abuse in the practices.

Your wellbeing is just as important to us as it is to you. We have our very own practice mental health first aider and wellbeing champion, and we are very keen that everyone has a good work/life balance. Our practice is also part of the CVS refresh scheme where we part-fund regular social events outside of work.

What else can we offer you?

An attractive salary of up to £65k DOE (pro rata) Up to 7 weeks holiday a year + Bank Holidays on our buy sell holiday scheme (pro rata) Industry leading enhanced Maternity, Paternity and Adoption Leave pay offering 10 weeks full and 10 weeks half pay! Receive an extra days leave each year up to 5 years' service Attractive bonus scheme Pension, Sharesave and staff discount schemes RCVS and VDS fees paid Employee Assistance Programme Access to a range of flexible benefits to suit your needs – such as subsidised gym membership and cycle to work scheme
