Our client has a group of 12 long-established practices across three south coast counties. They are now looking for a Full Time Veterinary Surgeon to join the team.
The group is sandwiched between the edge of the South Downs and the stunning chalk cliffs of the coast. Across the group, there are certificate holders in orthopaedics, surgery, medicine, cardiology, and imaging, which greatly supports the in-house referrals; plus one of our vet team is currently undertaking a certificate in ECC. The clinics are well-equipped with the typical first-opinion facilities, including digital x-rays, laboratory and diagnostics, dental x-rays, ultrasound machine, and multi-parameter monitors.
There is a team of 6 veterinary surgeons, 10 nurses, and 12 support staff who share the same vision for growth within the practice. They are now looking for an enthusiastic, friendly vet who is focused on clinical excellence and teamwork. You will be part of a busy, experienced clinical team and the role will cover all first opinion work, with a primary focus on consulting. During the week, the 3 surgeries are open 08:30 - 19:00. Full Time hours are 4 days per week and Saturdays on a 1:4 rota. There are no OOH or bank holiday work. Salary for this role is up to £75,000 (FTE) depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will be a progressive and friendly team member who has already obtained a degree of general clinical experience. A drive for clinical excellence, teamwork, and clinic care are essential qualities.
