Small Animal Vet (Salary up to £67,000 DOE)

We are a small animal first opinion veterinary practice based in the beautiful Norfolk Broads, we are fortunate enough to have the city of Norwich a short car or train ride away (yes, Wroxham has a train station!), the broads on our doorstep and the amazing Norfolk coast a short drive away, the best of all worlds. Our ethos has always been clear: to do the best for the animals in our care within the means of our clients and to look after our team with respect and kindness. We take pride in doing our job well – of doing the best we can for the patient and we're here to look after our clients, to try and work with them and to think about how they are feeling too. The vet team enjoy a 4 day week with a 1 in 3 Saturday (when the Saturday is worked this is counted as one of the four days that week), with an average 36 hours per week. Our rota is designed to give one 4 day weekend and one 3 day weekend per 6 weeks. Part time applications will also be considered for the right candidate. We have tea breaks built into the diary with 30 minutes in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon to enable a tea break and time to report lab results in addition to the lunch break! Routine appointments are 15 minutes with euthanasia's being double.
