Exciting opportunity available to join a dedicated, experienced and hardworking team!

We are looking for an experienced small animal vet to join the team at Southport Vets on a part-time basis.

You will work alongside our amazing and welcoming team offering first class care to our growing client base. The team also has the support of an experienced Head Vet and Senior Practice Director.

Our purpose-built, well-equipped practice is only 18 months old, and consists of four consult rooms, one theatre, a dental suite and a host of facilities, which includes a brand-new Lap kit. There is also room to grow and expand the services offered.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering a high level of small animal clinical care, be confident building relationships with clients, nurturing a loyal client base, enjoy working as part of a team and be able to communicate to a high level. You will be a confident Vet with an enthusiastic approach and able to perform routine surgeries sole charge.

This is a part-time role of 20-30 hours per week, with a requirement to cover 1 Saturday in 3, but we are open to discussing flexible working options, which includes school hours and term only. Tell us what works for you, and we'll do our very best to make it happen!

In addition to a competitive salary of up to £60k pro rata, depending on experience, we offer a supportive and collaborative work environment. Our team is made up of experienced veterinarians and dedicated support staff who are always ready to lend a helping hand. Continuous professional development is highly encouraged, and we provide opportunities for further training and specialisation, along with a generous pro rata benefits package.

If you would like to arrange a confidential and informal chat about this role, or arrange a visit to the practice for a cuppa and chat, contact Laura on 07780 374377 or click Apply Now, upload your CV and we'll be in touch.

CVS is committed to being a fully inclusive place to work where all our colleagues are encouraged and supported to be themselves, where difference is celebrated and where everyone feels able to deliver their best. We are also determined to build a workforce that is more representative of our diverse communities and the people we provide our services to.
