Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join our long established, friendly, growing practice near Stockport.
The team pride themselves on client satisfaction and provide their clients with the highest standard of customer care. They keep all communication open by providing progress reports on results, prognosis, treatment options and costs involved at all times. The clinic is a well-equipped practice with their own Dental suite, 3 consulting rooms, an operating theatre, and they are also an RCVS accredited and approved Nurse training practice.
Based in a very friendly town with a variety of local shops and a large supermarket, the Peak Forest Canal is on the outskirts of the town which is located only 20 minutes away from vibrant Manchester in one direction and the beautiful Peak District in the other, with excellent transport links by road and rail.
This role is for 40 hours per week, over 4 days, Saturday mornings on a 1 in 4 basis but there are no OOH or on-call duties. Consultation appointments are 15 minutes each. Salary is up to £60,000 FTE depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, caring small animal veterinary surgeon with excellent communication skills. All applicants will be considered, but the role is ideally suited to a vet with several years of clinical experience. The ideal candidate will have experience and the ability to work sole charge and perform basic surgery. Further study towards a certificate is encouraged and supported. Good communication, client skills, and teamwork are a must.
