My lovely small independent client are based in a beautiful market town just north of Morecambe and Lancaster, with easy access to the lake district national park. They seek to recruit a recently graduated or experienced vet to join the team.
They are RCVS accredited, have gold cat friendly status and have a purpose built practice with all the equipment need to provide all round routine health care and surgeries. The team have extensive experience with one vet holding a certificate in emergency care and another with a strong interest in exotics, particularly rabbits.
The role is full time (40 hours a week) can be 4 or 5 day week but carries NO out of Hours, although the practice does offer OOH’s care to their clients. Shifts work from 9-6.30 with Saturday mornings on a rota.
You will receive a dedicated mentor to guide you through your first steps into practice and to help you gain confidence with routine GP care. This practice would be a great place to start your career. Salary around £40k (£70k for experienced) and initial help with accommodation can be given for someone who is relocating.
