Would you like to join a super-supportive and ambitious small animal vet team in the beautiful South Norfolk countryside? We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a practice based in a vibrant market town, only half an hour away from the city of Norwich, close to the glorious Suffolk coast and the vast forests of the Brecks, yet within quick and easy reach of London by rail. Established over a century ago as a traditional mixed practice, our client has evolved into a 5 vet, RCVS accredited and nurse training small animal practice with all the facilities you would expect along with a varied caseload to develop your career. Their ideal candidate will be friendly with a collaborative and organised approach to client and patient care and the desire to help make the practice the best it can be. Client numbers are increasing in response to the excellent care the team delivers, and with plans to grow further over the coming years, building development is underway to enlarge and improve the facilities on offer. The team has the skills and a VetGDP mentor to help support and develop those in the early days of their career but can also provide challenging work for a more experienced colleague with the resources available to support study for a certificate if desired. An interest in surgery would be helpful to support their current surgery certificate holder. A full-time position would consist of a 4-day week with some Saturday mornings and very occasional in-patient care; however, they can be flexible for the right candidate. Included in the package on offer:

Salary £37,000 - £55,000 FTE DOE RCVS, BVA, BSAVA & VDS fees paid. CPD allowance with study for certificates supported 33 days holiday FTE Team discount and health options Workplace pensions options
