Our client has a Small Animal Veterinary Practice near Birkenhead who are looking for a Full Time Vet to join their friendly team.
The practice offers a varied caseload and day-to-day you will be involved in a mix of consults and operations. You will have a dedicated ops morning each week, with the potential to do more of this if surgery is an area of interest.

This is a 6 vet practice based on the Wirral, within easy reach of Liverpool and Chester and plenty of beaches and countryside to explore. In addition, there are 2 smaller, satellite, consult-only branches with limited sole charge. This branch is equipped with 5 consult rooms, a dedicated pharmacy, digital x-ray, ultrasound, cautery and a full idexx suite. There are 6 Vets, 5 RVN's, 1 student nurse and 7 additional support staff. Across the team, there are several certificate holders, including surgery and medicine.
A full-time vet usually works a variety of shifts between 8:30 am – 6:30 pm, with an hour for lunch. There is a requirement to work 2:5 Saturday mornings, but no out-of-hours or bank holidays. The salary for this role is up to £60,000 FTE depending on experience. They are looking for a vet who will fit into this well-established and friendly team. Ideally, you will be a friendly team player, with good communication skills. MRCVS, all levels of experience would be considered.
