To place Surface Mount components using specific machinery at our busy Essex site. To assemble product within the required quality standard and output levels, whilst working in a team or independently towards a collective company goal. Your Responsibilities

Run the Surface Mount machines, pasting and hand placing components. Load feeders. Pay attention to the time taken on each assembly and note it on the work ticket. Notify the Production Supervisor of any difficulties in assembly, to allow alternative methods of assembly to be provided or more training to be instigated. Adhere to all paperwork requirements and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner and to company quality procedures. Handle product safely in line with company procedures. Follow anti-static procedures including the wearing of anti-static clothing provided. Ensure full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements i.e., Health and Safety. Assist in other areas when workload dictates. Travel

Limited but as required to fulfill business demands. Your Background

Knowledge of electronics production and assembly. Ability to identify Surface Mount component types. Previous experience of Surface Mount machinery. Knowledge of IPC standards. Possess good teamwork skills but can also work independently. Knowledge of assembly drawings, parts lists and work ticket instructions and recognition of component identification markings. Knowledge of manual handling regulations. Our Pledge
