Working in the production department of this manufacturing organization you will be undertaking all forms of electronic assembly and related tasks
Hours of Work:
38 per week, 7.30 am - 5.30 pm, with half hour lunch break, Monday – Thursday (4 Day Week)
Responsibilities:
- Experience of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) rework
- Daily operation of SMT
- Ability to solder, wire and form components
- Ability to follow written work instructions
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to maintain a high level of concentration
- Ability to distinguish colours
- Must possess good manual dexterity and have a good level of literacy and numeracy
- Must be able to cope with working in different areas of production e.g PCB assembly, general assembly, surface mount, coating, flow solder
- Ensure shop floor is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Any other duties that might reasonably be expected of a production operative
Education / Experience:
- SMT rework experience is required as well as general experience of electronic manufacturing.
- IPC Certification would be desirable.
