Hours:
Term time 5 hours per week and up to 12 hours per week holiday time.

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this job is to support my twelve-year-old son who has been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. He is non-verbal and communicates by pointing or holding your hand. He still wears nappies, so there will be personal care involved.
Responsibilities:
The role involves supporting my son so that he can take part in the activities in the community that he enjoys independently of myself.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate would be someone who likes to be active and enjoys being out and about, is conscientious, and has a good sense of humour. Knowledge/experience with Autistic Spectrum Disorder would be advantageous. Ideally, the candidate should be enthusiastic with a genuine interest in working with children and have some experience of working with disabled children.
Requirements: A car driver is essential, and mileage will be reimbursed. This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references which will be taken up if you are offered the post. At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
