The Role A Social Content Creator has their finger on the pulse of the latest social media and content creation techniques and technologies. They’re able to turn around content immediately to meet the fast-paced nature of social media. This means that they are responsible for everything from ideation, production, shooting and editing as well as being able to manage clients and their expectations, keeping nimble and agile projects moving along at pace. A Social Content Creator will possess a deep understanding of the differences between content styles for each platform, knowledge of current trends and internet culture. Be a subject matter expert on social media trends and platform-native content creation.

Key Responsibilities Researching and compiling social trends, ideas, competitors’ best-in-class examples, and cutting-edge executions to inform and propose new content. Supporting on social media content creation inclusive of: Ideating and developing content in line with current social media trends, or briefs received by the client that ladder back to core objectives and goals. Support the Senior Social Media Content Creator with pre-production needs inclusive of location management, talent management, the procuring of kit, insurance and wardrobes and props where necessary. Creating storyboards, shot lists, and pre-production materials for both site content and social-first content. Support the Senior Social Media Content Creator on social shoots on capturing footage, and ensuring this footage is ingested and packaged in the relevant way so that it is ready for the post-production stage. Edit original video content and have a hand in all phases of video production from pre-to-post (filming, editing, colour correction, sound design, etc.). The Social Media Content Creator should have client facing skills so that they can build strong client relationships to become a trusted advisor and partner, working with said client to bring ideas to life.

Skills & Experience Photography, videography, editing or creative content skills. A strong visual mindset and understanding of the wider landscape of the automotive and luxury industries. Strong communication skills and ability to take creative direction and bring it to life through video editing. Strong understanding of frame composition (lighting, angles, negative space, photo clarity/depth of frame). Strong understanding of studio tools such as ring lights, tripods, props, backdrops, etc. Exceptional time-management and multi-tasking abilities. Expertise in tools and processes for creative assets and content workflows.
