Hey! We’re Valla. Every year, 7.5 million adults in the UK face a legal problem, but too often, people can’t afford to pay a lawyer. Our AI-powered legal platform is built to solve this problem. Using Valla, consumers can collect evidence, manage their case, and connect with lawyers for fixed-priced advice. Valla was founded in 2020 to make legal services accessible and affordable to everyone. Starting with UK employment law, Valla has helped thousands of people navigate the complex legal process and manage their workplace issues from grievance to tribunal and resolution. We’re now growing monthly with 10,000 users signed up and loads of positive feedback from both our users and the legal industry. With huge opportunities to expand and offer more people support in more areas of consumer law, we’re excited for this next stage of growth. Organic Social is one of our best performing channels for generating new leads and signups, and around 10% of new customers come from TikTok and YouTube. We’ve tested a few social media campaigns and initiatives, and we currently run a successful monthly online event. Social media and online events present huge opportunities to attract and engage more of our audience - and we’re looking for a social media and events specialist to help us accelerate growth in these channels. What you’ll do

As our Social Media and Events manager, you’ll develop and implement our social media events strategy to increase awareness, improve engagement and generate new leads/signups. Responsibilities

Review, develop and implement the social media strategy Create engaging social media content and campaigns that resonate with Valla’s audience Work with marketing team and designer to create marketing and promotional assets to support campaigns, including landing pages, images and videos. Improve Employment Tribunal Support Group and campaign to increase registration, attendance rate, engagement and conversion Develop, test and optimise new online events to help support and engage our audience Track, analyse, and optimise campaign performance Identify and propose ways to automate processes, and work with the wider team to implement automations You'll have freedom to decide the specific work to do - there's plenty of customer research, data, content and opportunities to work with, and we'll welcome your opinions. Experience

5+ years experience in social media strategy and campaign management for tech startups/scaleups Hands-on experience working across social platforms: TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram Proven success in managing end-to-end social media campaigns with measurable results Analytical mindset with experience in tracking, analysing, and optimising campaign performance Strong knowledge and up-to-date with new social features, industry trends and best practices with a proven ability to apply them effectively 3+ years experience developing, creating, coordinating and managing online events Ideally strong experience in Zoom webinars and Hubspot Experience conceptualising and producing engaging social content and assets that resonates with audiences Strong communication and copywriting skills Keen interest in using AI and automation to improve campaigns and increase efficiency in processes Tools and resources

For this project, you’ll have access to: Social media accounts Hubspot Webflow Figma Legal experts to check your edits Budget to work with a technical writer with legal expertise to support content development (we have an existing relationship) Technical support within the company for any website changes If you need any other software or tools, you can raise it and we'll figure it out.
