Social Media and Communications Executive , your primary focus will be on increasing brand awareness, boosting engagement, managing customer enquiries, and showcasing the positive work we do. You will also be tasked with promoting our relationship with key partners and highlighting the staff incentives we offer throughout the year. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and managing social media advertising campaigns, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, MD, and CEO. You will also collaborate with our PR agency to ensure consistency across all communication channels. Key Responsibilities as a

Social Media and Communications Executive

: Social Media Strategy : Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness, enhance engagement, and promote DCBL’s key initiatives, including our partnership with the Widnes Vikings and the DCBL Stadium. Content Creation : Design and produce engaging graphics, videos, and written content that align with DCBL's brand voice and messaging. Social Media Advertising : Create, manage, and optimise paid social media advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X. Community Engagement : Manage DCBL's social media channels, responding to customer enquiries and engaging with followers in a professional and timely manner. Collaboration : Work closely with our PR agency to ensure that all external communications, including press releases and media mentions, align with social media content. Reporting : Monitor social media performance, report on key metrics such as engagement, growth, and lead generation, and provide actionable insights to the Marketing Manager, MD, and CEO. Campaign Analysis : Regularly assess the performance of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to meet KPIs. Internal Communication : Highlight staff initiatives, events, and success stories on social media to promote the company's culture and values. Key Platforms: LinkedIn

(maintaining strong relationships and communication) Experience & Skills Required: Minimum of

3 years’ experience

managing social media platforms for a business. At least

1 years’ experience

running paid social media advertising campaigns. Creative flair

with a strong eye for design, producing visually appealing content (graphics, videos, etc.) that aligns with company branding. Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite experience would be a plus; knowledge of other tools such as Sprout Social, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite also valued). Strong communication skills

(both written and verbal), with the ability to engage with our audience and handle customer enquiries professionally. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines. Experience with

social media analytics

and reporting tools to track KPIs and campaign success. Desirable Attributes: Proactive, self-motivated, and detail oriented. Creative thinker with a passion for developing engaging content. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Ability to collaborate across teams and manage external relationships with the PR agency.
