Social Media Community Manager (SMCM)

Ladbrokes . Reporting to the Head of Social Media, you’ll be at the forefront of our organic social media efforts, bringing our brand personality to life and engaging with our vibrant community of sports enthusiasts. As our

Social Media Community Manager , you’ll: Craft engaging, entertaining, and topical content for our organic social channels: Facebook, X, Instagram, and YouTube. Represent the voice of Ladbrokes, staying true to our brand personality and tone in every post and interaction. Monitor social media trends and keep your finger on the pulse of major sporting events to ensure our content is always relevant and timely. Interact with followers, responding to queries and comments in collaboration with our retail and digital Customer Support teams. Collaborate closely with the PR team to align our social media activities with broader campaigns and initiatives. Support the Head of Social Media in brainstorming and creating standout social content that aligns with our marketing strategy. Travel to key sporting events to capture on-the-ground content that excites and engages our community. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of one year’s professional experience in a social media role, or a betting or sports-related role. Experience of social media content creation and copywriting with a high level of interest in, and knowledge of, a range of mainstream sports, including football. Strong working and/or personal knowledge and experience of social media channels (X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube). Strong verbal and written communications skills. Motivated and organised with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, always-on environment. Willing and able to work evenings and weekends on a shift pattern.
