Gaming Community Manager

is responsible for cultivating a thriving and engaged community around our games. This involves developing and executing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement within the gaming community. The ideal candidate is a passionate gamer with a deep understanding of gaming culture, trends, and online community platforms. They will be responsible for managing our social media presence across various platforms, including

Twitch, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Reddit, and Discord . This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a passion for connecting with gamers. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 3+ years in digital, social media, public relations, and/or advertising across B2B and B2C companies, with experience in the gaming industry preferred. Bachelor's in Communications, Advertising, Media Studies, or a related field. A combination of education and experience can be substituted. Deep understanding of gaming culture , including trends, language, and community behaviors. Firsthand experience as a gamer is preferred. Strong awareness of

gaming industry trends, Twitch meta, and emerging content formats

to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and engaging. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different tones and styles for various online platforms and audiences. Superior attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to deliver high-quality, creative work, learn quickly, and effectively multi-task and manage deadlines. In-depth knowledge of and passion for overseeing online community platforms and best practices. Ability to liaise with clients in a professional manner. Team player, able to work collaboratively cross-department and communicate with management. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams. Experience using social media management and measurement tools such as Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, etc. JOB DUTIES Manages the development, delivery, and execution of social media deliverables, working collaboratively with internal account team members and across departments. Delivers exceptional community management

with care, attention, and speed for assigned customer accounts. Oversees social media channels for page layout and design that meets industry best practices. Collaborates with social media teams to ideate on content creation to support proactive, real-time, and reactive content needs, specifically tailored for gaming audiences. Supports the social media teams in analyzing data and drawing actionable insights, delivering analytics based on the brand's performance online. Demonstrates effective knowledge within the social media advertising industry and a hunger for information/learning, including current and emerging tech, advertising, and digital trends. Effectively manages time while paying careful attention to detail, ensuring all work and communications are completed on time and of exceptional quality. Effectively adapts to change and actively listens and participates in troubleshooting to inform solutions. Confidently crafts and delivers effective client-facing communications. Manages social content photos and videos, specifically tailored for gaming audiences. Captures and edits compelling live-stream content on

Twitch , creating engaging highlights and repurposing them for other social media platforms. Shares inventive content ideas and applies new formats that promote engagement within the gaming community. Shows a passion and interest in capturing and communicating brand stories through social media, aligning with gaming culture and trends. The salary range for this position is $90k minimum - $105k maximum per annum. Compensation varies depending on location, job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
