Background: The Simple Company is a leading innovator in the wellness and sports nutrition manufacturing industry, dedicated to producing the highest quality products that fuel athletes and fitness enthusiasts worldwide. Reporting directly to the Performance & Marketing Manager, the Social Media & Content Executive will manage our owned media and content marketing, ensuring the strategic direction is followed and that we are seeing growth of our brands across all owned online channels.

This role requires a blend of marketing knowledge, strategic thinking, a creative mindset, and commercial acumen to navigate the complexities of the wellness, fitness, and sports nutrition online landscape. We are looking for a commercially driven, creative thinker with strong communication skills and a proven track record of delivering marketing initiatives on time, making demonstrable improvements and working to KPIs.

Main Accountabilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our brand identity, target audience, and marketing objectives.

Create engaging and on-brand content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

Plan and schedule social media posts, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of content that resonates with our audience.

Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages, and engage with followers to build community and foster positive relationships.

Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns, contests, and promotions that drive user engagement and increase brand visibility.

Stay informed about industry trends, platform updates, and emerging social media technologies to incorporate innovative strategies into our social media efforts.

Track and analyse key performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates, to evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns and optimise performance.

Assist with content creation for other digital channels, including email marketing, blog posts, website copy, and multimedia content as needed.

Support the development of social media guidelines, best practices, and training materials to ensure consistency and quality across all social media channels.

Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and influencers to amplify our brand message and reach new audiences effectively.

Experience & skills:

Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in a digital marketing agency or similar environment.

Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create engaging, persuasive, and error-free content for various digital platforms.

Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics).

Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate ideas clearly.

Knowledge of SEO best practices and basic graphic design skills are a plus.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
