Role : Social Media Specialist – Remote Salary : £30k- £40k per annum DOE £6k bonus Working Hours : 40 hours per week on an 8 week rota Benefits: Commission & bonus scheme with OTE of £6,000 on top of basic salary. Due to the nature of the business we are searching for candidates with a passion for football and betting. The brand is managed by my client who are a social media network. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for growing our audience and reach through a combination of organic and paid strategies, while also creating engaging content for our audiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media trends, possess excellent copywriting skills, have a proven track record of managing and growing social media platforms, and have a genuine love for football. Responsibilities: Implementing growth strategies to increase followers. Create engaging content, ensuring brand consistency and tone of voice in messaging Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing graphics and videos Being innovative in your approach to increase organic reach on content Foster and nurture an active and engaged online community Respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions Stay informed about emerging social media trends and opportunities Possess a keen curiosity about how social media algorithms distribute content The ideal candidate: Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or digital marketing role Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices Excellent written, verbal and copywriting skills Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Huge football fan Interested in football betting It’s a bonus if you also have: Knowledge of content marketing principles Graphic design skills and experience using Figma, Photoshop or Canva Interest in horse racing, darts or any other sport
