IOLLA is a direct to consumer, independent retailer of high quality eyewear; designed in house and enjoyed worldwide through our online and physical spaces. Our mission is to become the most popular prescription eyewear brand wherever we are, and we want you to help get us there! We’ve grown a loyal following across our Social Media platforms, but we know there’s so much more potential to unlock in this exciting period of brand growth. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for someone to shape our tone of voice and develop our brand on social media. The Role:

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative Social Media Lead to take IOLLA’s social presence to the next level. If you’re someone who thrives in a high-performance, creative environment and has a knack for making bold ideas happen, this role could be for you. As Social Media Lead, you’ll own the strategy and execution of IOLLA’s social platforms—bringing our brand to life in new, exciting ways while driving growth, engagement, and community connection. In the first six months, you’ll embark on a transformative project to reshape and rebuild our social media strategy from the ground up, laying the foundation for long-term success. With a focus on Instagram, TikTok, and other high-impact platforms, you’ll be instrumental in making IOLLA a must-follow brand. What you'll be doing:

Social Strategy & Execution: Lead a 6-month project to rebuild IOLLA’s social media strategy, defining a bold vision that drives engagement and growth. Team Campaign Collaboration: Partner with our in-house creative team members to craft innovative and thumb-stopping content, with an emphasis on storytelling, trends, and audience-first design. Channel Growth: Take charge of growing our presence on Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms—scaling IOLLA’s social community with creative campaigns and high-performing content. Community Management: Build deeper connections with our followers through thoughtful engagement and fostering a sense of belonging within the IOLLA community, interacting with our community of customers, influencers and partners. On-Camera Presence: Represent IOLLA on social channels, wearing our eyewear with confidence and personality in reels, TikToks and live videos. Collaboration & Campaigns: Work closely with the creative team members and those in other departments to deliver integrated campaigns that position IOLLA as the go-to brand for eyewear. Analytics & Reporting: Use data to drive decisions, analyse performance metrics, and continuously refine strategies to maximise ROI. Who we're looking for:

We’re seeking someone who’s not just great at social media—they live it. You’re constantly on top of trends, have an eye for design, and can turn big ideas into actionable strategies. Experience: 2+ years proven success in scaling social media platforms (especially Instagram and TikTok) through innovative content and strategy. Creativity: A sharp eye for high-quality visuals and the ability to brief and create standout content. Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a big plus. Trend-Driven: You’re plugged into the latest trends, platforms, and cultural moments—and you know how to make them work for a brand. Analytical Mindset: You’re as comfortable with data as you are with design, using insights to shape strategies and measure success. Collaboration: A team player who thrives on working cross-functionally and can inspire others with your vision. Leadership: You’ve led projects or small teams and are ready to drive IOLLA’s social media strategy with confidence. You’re confident being in front of the camera wearing your IOLLA glasses and engaging with other team members to do the same. What you'll get:

A competitive salary based on experience Our Retail Trust partnership offers a host of benefits including an Employee Assistance programme and access to high street discounts, amongst many others! Complimentary eyewear A generous friends and family discount To work for a brand who are proud to be a Real Living Wage employer Free on site parking at our HQ for all employees We’re not just making eyewear; we’re making an impact. At IOLLA, you’ll work in an environment that’s fast-paced, collaborative, and built on creativity. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, take risks, and be part of a team that’s redefining an industry. Ready to grow IOLLA’s social channels? We’d love to hear from you. Apply now to help us grow our brand, one like, share, and story at a time. To apply, complete our application form and prepare a 15-30 second video or reel featuring yourself. The video should: Showcase your on-camera confidence Include a call-to-action that aligns with IOLLA’s values A caption to accompany the video, tailored for Instagram or TikTok, that engages the audience.
