Social Media Manager
which is a brand-new position at Pizza Pilgrims. We’re super proud of our brand, and the content we make, but we know there’s room for improvement. Hopefully, this is where you come in! So, if you’re obsessed about pizza, you’re up for a challenge, and you’re pioneering in the social game, read on…
Our marketing team is growing, and this role will be supporting our Founder, James on growing our thriving community of social followers. You’ll be leading the social strategy, taking our content to the next level. Your finger will be the pulse of trends, as well as plotting out the wider brand story and executing it seamlessly.
THE EXCITING STUFF
Work alongside our Founder James and Head of Marketing Ruth to plot out the social calendar - ensuring all content is full of joy, humour and celebrates our pizza, as well as our people. Filming, editing and producing top-tier content which captures our brand personality, energy and obsession with pizza. Dominate TikTok – creating and delivering an industry-leading content plan. You’ll need to be TikTok native. Supporting our Sales & Events team to create content that avoids being salesy but converts and cuts through the noise and sells out tickets! Scout out the latest trends and cool-goings on across all social channels. Coming to us with exciting ideas for collabs and social partnerships across the industry and beyond! THE IMPORTANT STUFF
Be native in setting up and refining ad campaigns: setting them up, tweaking and refining for maximum impact. Create monthly reports proving ads ROI and look at how we can continue to drive our social reach & engagement even further. Work with the Head of Marketing to ensure we stick to budget & don’t deviate from the wider social strategy. A BIT ABOUT YOU You will need to be a strong storyteller and content creator who lives and breathes creating high-performing Reels and TikTok’s. You will ideally have 3-4 years’ experience working in paid ads & social media -
being TikTok native is super important! You won’t be afraid to speak your mind and present your ideas with conviction. You will love to have the freedom to innovate whilst staying on brand. You will have excellent organisation skills and attention to detail. You will be able to build relationships with senior leaders in the business as well as the teams doing their thing every day in the pizzerias. One team, one dream! It’s been over ten years since Founders Thom & James started Pizza Pilgrims as a way to be happier. Happier in their jobs, happier in their lives and in control of their own destiny. We’ve come a long way in those ten years with over 20 pizzerias under our belt, a Pizza Academy, and we’re also a BCORP too. They would certainly say that it has been a rollercoaster of a ride ever since - but like most rollercoaster rides, it’s an enjoyable one!
