As our UK Social Media Contractor, you will be a key player in expanding Welcome to the Jungle's social media presence in the UK market. Working with us 2 days per week, you will help shape and execute our social media strategy across LinkedIn and Instagram. You will report directly to our Social Media Team Lead, with a close working relationship with the UK Marketing team. As an integral part of our social media team, you will be instrumental in adapting and distributing content that resonates with our UK audience while maintaining our global brand voice. Your role will be crucial in building and engaging our community while driving growth across our social platforms. You have proven experience in social media strategy and content creation, with a demonstrated track record of growing engaged online communities. You have exceptional writing abilities combined with strong analytical skills, allowing you to create compelling content while measuring and optimising performance. You are both a creative thinker and a methodical executor, with the ability to generate innovative ideas while maintaining organised content calendars and consistent delivery. You have experience with social media analytics tools and a data-driven approach to content optimisation. You are a natural collaborator who can work independently while effectively partnering with multiple teams to achieve shared goals. What the job involves

Strategic Content Development: Lead the creation and execution of UK-focused social media strategies in partnership with UK marketing and HQ teams. Build comprehensive content calendars, write engaging copy, and develop creative briefs that blend brand, media, and marketing content across LinkedIn and Instagram while supporting the leadership team's visibility on LinkedIn. Community Management & Growth: Take ownership of our social media presence by actively engaging with and growing our online community. Monitor and respond to audience interactions, implement strategies to expand our follower base, and maintain Welcome to the Jungle's brand voice across all platforms. Performance Analysis & Innovation: Utilise analytics tools to track and measure content performance, providing data-driven recommendations for optimisation. Stay ahead of social media trends and competitor activities to keep our content fresh and relevant, suggesting innovative formats and approaches for the UK market. Operational Excellence & Execution: Manage the end-to-end content process, from scheduling and publishing across platforms to ensuring optimal timing and frequency. Work independently while collaborating effectively with the social media manager and broader marketing team to deliver high-quality content consistently. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with UK marketing, HQ Social Media teams, and creative teams to ensure aligned messaging and visual content. Transform strategic insights into actionable content plans while maintaining strong relationships across departments to drive social media success.
