We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager with proven experience in leading campaigns and managing teams. You will be responsible for driving results across multiple clients, mentoring junior staff, and developing innovative social strategies that enhance brand engagement and growth. As part of our team of marketing professionals, you will work collaboratively with other Managers and after probation, directly manage clients and a junior executive across a broad range of clients to create fun and attention-grabbing social media campaigns with measurable results. There are multiple positions open, and you must have relevant experience, be based within comfortable commuting distance and have a relative degree of experience for this role. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive social media content plans, write engaging captions, and create compelling content by leveraging the latest trends. Develop, implement, and optimise multi-channel social media campaigns that align with client objectives, focusing on audience growth, engagement, and measurable impact. Oversee and guide community engagement strategies, ensuring brand tone consistency and responsive interactions across all platforms. Prepare reports analysing campaigns and their effectiveness. Stay up-to-date with social trends and updates and incorporate them into social plans. Manage or collaborate on paid social media campaigns, leveraging data insights to optimise performance and ROI. Manager positions should have some experience of junior reports. Lead and mentor junior executives, providing guidance and training to develop their skills and support campaign execution. Develop creative briefs for internal and external teams, ensuring cohesive execution of social content across channels. Candidate Requirements 4+ years of hands-on experience in social media management, ideally within an agency setting, handling multiple brands and campaigns. Knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Data-driven mindset with experience in tracking, measuring, and optimising social performance through key metrics and analytics tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of scheduling and reporting software like Hootsuite, Later, or SproutSocial. Experience setting up and monitoring paid social campaigns. Experience working with influencers is desired but not essential. Ability to follow a brief and meet deadlines. Ability to create briefs for both internal and external partners. Work individually and as part of a close-knit team to ensure cohesive and collaborative execution of client requirements. Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express) with a strong eye for design and storytelling. Proven experience in managing and developing junior team members. Strong project management skills - ability to juggle multiple clients, deadlines, and content calendars effectively. What do we offer? Competitive salary based on experience: £34K – £42K for Manager positions. Discretionary - Personal allowance of up to £1,250 pounds pa after probation. Contributory pension scheme. 30 to 31 days paid leave (inclusive of public holidays and Christmas shutdown) rising at key anniversary or promotion depending on position.
