About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team part-time. This role is perfect for a creative and strategic individual experienced in managing and growing digital content across social platforms. The ideal candidate will have a background in content marketing, social media management, and a track record of creating engaging content that drives brand growth. This position is flexible within standard working hours (9 am - 5 pm), allowing the successful candidate to adapt their schedule as needed. Contractors are also welcomed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a social media content strategy that aligns with our brand and marketing objectives.
- Create compelling content, including posts, ad copy, visuals, and longer-form articles, to support campaigns and increase audience engagement.
- Manage and schedule content across social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), ensuring consistency in tone and brand message.
- Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics, providing insights and suggestions to optimise content and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support initiatives and integrate social media into broader marketing efforts.
- Stay current with trends in digital and social media to propose fresh ideas for brand visibility and growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in content strategy and social media management, ideally in a tech or consulting environment.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create persuasive and informative content tailored to different platforms.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, WIX, or similar content creation software.
- Experience with paid social media campaigns is an advantage.
- Track record of successful social media growth, such as follower engagement, lead generation, or brand awareness.
