Are you passionate about social media and ready to take ownership of strategy and execution? We're looking for a talented Social Media Specialist to join our digital marketing team and lead the charge in creating engaging, impactful campaigns that bring our brand to life. In this role, you'll own the social media strategy, working closely with our Comms and content team and creative services team to manage campaign execution from start to finish. You'll also roll up your sleeves to create high-quality content, attend events, and capture moments that highlight the unique spirit of our retirement villages. Technical expertise in social media platforms, tools, and analytics is essential, as you'll need to ensure our channels are optimised for performance and aligned with broader marketing objectives. Based in Auckland or Christchurch, this is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in a role that combines creativity, strategy, and hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities:

Own the Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that drives engagement, builds brand awareness, and aligns with business goals. Lead Campaign Execution: Project manage social media campaigns in collaboration with the Comms, Content, and Copywriting teams, ensuring timely and effective delivery. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Acquisition and Brand teams to ensure social media efforts align with shared marketing objectives, contributing to cohesive and impactful campaigns. Create Engaging Content: Produce content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Capture real-life moments at our retirement villages, events, and activities to showcase our vibrant community. Technical Platform Expertise: Use social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics to monitor performance, optimise content, and report on key metrics. Community Engagement: Actively engage with our online audience, responding to comments and messages to build a positive and authentic brand presence. What's in it for you?

You have 3-5 years of experience in social media management, combining creativity with a results-driven mindset. You're a skilled project manager, capable of leading campaigns from strategy to execution. You have hands-on experience creating high-quality content, including capturing photos and videos at events or on location. You're technically proficient with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics software. You are willing to travel (including internationally) You excel in collaboration, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. You value excellence and strive to exceed expectations in everything you do. You're resilient and adaptable, maintaining focus and positivity in a fast-paced environment.
