Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Social Media Specialist on behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Shifnal, Shropshire.

You’ll be involved in every aspect of the process—from pitching for new projects and planning strategies to executing campaigns and delivering insightful reports. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with a diverse range of clients and driving performance outcomes such as brand awareness, lead generation, and sales across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Your responsibilities will include crafting social strategies, creating content, identifying content streams, briefing creatives, optimising campaigns, and reporting on performance. You’ll use your expertise to manage campaigns aligned with client objectives, selecting the right channels, messaging, and creative elements to engage specific audiences and achieve their goals.

Hours:

Mon-Fri 9:00am - 17:30pm - Office based

Salary:

£26,000 - £28,000 per annum DOE + 2K commission per year.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of client objectives, target audiences, competitors, and desired marketing outcomes. Create and deliver engaging, audience-driven social media content including Instagram reels and TikTok posts and strategies that align with client goals and thematic priorities. Manage social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including (but not limited to) TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X, ensuring they drive performance and meet objectives. Produce detailed social media reports, incorporating client and competitor research, performance metrics, and actionable recommendations for improvement. Evaluate creative ad performance, website conversions, and overall campaign effectiveness. Conduct ongoing research into emerging channels, trends, and techniques to ensure the company remains an industry leader in social media innovation. Liaise regularly with account managers and clients via telephone, email, online meetings, or face-to-face interactions to maintain alignment on campaign progress and objectives. Implement campaigns, including content scheduling and continuous reviews to optimise publishing times and maximise audience engagement. Oversee budget management and campaign implementation, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within financial parameters. Ideal Candidate:

A creative flair and enthusiasm for all things social. Proven ability to adapt and change content or strategy to meet varying client requirements. Strong creative experience in crafting social media content including written and video. Ability to work well to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven time management skills with a history of meeting deadlines. Highly organised with the ability to multitask across projects. A desire to work in a close-knit, highly successful team with clear accountability. Energy and dedication to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. Experience managing clients and stakeholders with a focus on delivering excellent service. Demonstrated ability to maintain and build strong client relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational and presentation abilities. Social Media Expertise and Technical Skills:

Proven track record in managing social media campaigns with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Comprehensive knowledge of Meta platforms, including Ads Manager, Instagram Business, and LinkedIn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage and analyse social media performance metrics and campaign data. Familiarity with analytical tools such as Meta Analytics, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and SEMrush. Familiarity in creating Instagram reels and TikTok posts. Ability to interpret data and drive improvements including creation of detailed reports using tools such as PowerPoint. Benefits Include:
