The shift pattern varies and will require evenings, weekend work and potentially sleepovers or nightshifts. Main responsibilities: Offering 1:1 support, helping clients with a range of complex needs. Supporting clients to attend college and clubs. Assisting clients to day-to-day activities of their choice. Supporting and encouraging the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Participating in the implementation and monitoring of individual support plans. Providing support in all aspects of personal care. Carry out housekeeping duties and day to day tasks. Assist clients with managing finances. Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to clients to promote their wellbeing. Encourage the relationships that our clients have with family, friends, and the wider community. Maintain and promote our client’s independence. Be mindful of adult protection issues and report accordingly. At all times, be mindful of equality and diversity, and behave culturally sensitive manner.
