About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Sustainability Manager to join a prestigious organization dedicated to supporting an effective and inclusive parliamentary system. This is a unique opportunity to lead impactful social sustainability initiatives that will help shape the future of a working World Heritage site and ensure ethical practices across supply chains.

As a key member of the Social Sustainability Team, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across Parliament and its supply chain to deliver the Social Sustainability Plan, which encompasses ethical practices, modern slavery programs, diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver projects under the Social Sustainability Plan, ensuring measurable outcomes. Oversee supply chain initiatives that promote diversity, resilience, and equality, and support local economies. Manage projects under Parliament's Modern Slavery Programme in collaboration with an external advisory group. Build relationships with internal teams and external contractors to implement ethical and socially responsible practices. Lead campaigns and communications to engage stakeholders with sustainability initiatives. Monitor, analyse, and report on the impact of social sustainability interventions. Represent the organization on key sustainability boards and share progress updates with leadership.

Skills and Experience: Proven experience managing projects from conception to implementation, delivering measurable outcomes. Experience in implementing innovative social sustainability initiatives in supply chains. Strong ability to manage change in complex stakeholder environments. Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including drafting clear reports and delivering impactful presentations.
