Professional Growth: Gain valuable experience in all aspects of social work, including child protection and court work, within a supportive and knowledgeable team.

What you will do:

Work with disabled children and their families, assessing their need for social care services and providing tailored support. Engage with children identified as Children in Need, those subject to Child Protection plans, Care Proceedings, and those who are Children We Care For and Leaving Care. Conduct assessments, plan interventions, and facilitate access to services for families to ensure the best possible outcomes. Collaborate with various professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive care for the children. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and present cases in family courts when necessary. To excel in this role, you must be SWE registered, possess a valid driving licence for South Oxfordshire travel, and ideally have experience working with Disabled Children. The completion of your ASYE is a must, although more experience is preferred.
