Are you experienced in supporting Children in Our Care and Care Leavers and dedicated Personal advisors?
We are looking for a passionate Leaving Care Team Manager full time for our 16-25 team. You will work alongside the Service Manager and our other experienced team manager. Your day-to-day support and high-quality supervision will ensure that your team can meet the complex and challenging demands of the service. You should be confident in your ability to lead and develop a team, with an in-depth understanding of safeguarding procedures, legislative frameworks (both adult and children’s), and social work theories to contribute to practice and policy.
Are you:
Able to motivate a staff team ensuring high-quality supervision is completed regularly, which includes management oversight, timely decision-making, effective implementation, and review of pathway plans?
Able to be the vital link between Personal Advisors and those making strategic decisions?
Able to analyse weekly data and CHAT data?
Able to be instrumental in promoting the principles of corporate parenting, delivering and improving services for children and young people?
Able to allocate resources and workload, managing the team budget and ensuring the provision of cost-effective services?
Able to work jointly with partners in the statutory, private, and voluntary sectors?
Able to plan and deliver effective team meetings, briefs, and care leavers events?

Skills/Experience:
Social Work Degree
Supervising: 2-year min (required)
Preferably experience in Leaving Care
Confident with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
