SW Locums are looking for a qualified social worker to work in the Adults Team in Barnet.
Applicants must be Covid-19 vaccinated and fully registered with Social Work England.
The qualified experienced social worker will have to show an extensive history of working in a similar role in the UK, as they will be working with individuals who are inpatient on a long-stay mental health ward in a hospital setting.
The social worker will need to have experience of working with people with mental health issues and possibly other disabilities.
The person will work with the multi-disciplinary team, including ward staff and health and social care professionals, to complete Care Act Assessments for individuals so that they can be discharged from the unit with appropriate support in community-based health/social care provisions.
The person should be confident in using information systems such as RIO and Mosaic and be able to set their own priorities.
