About the Role: Myn is proud to recruit for our valued partner in Kingshill, seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join their Children in Care (CIC) team. This role is your chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of children, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met. You’ll work collaboratively to deliver innovative, effective, and sustainable solutions, supporting children and families to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse Children & Families caseload, including assessments, reviews, welfare reports, and court attendance. Collaborate with colleagues across early help, prevention, and multi-agency partnerships to deliver tailored support. Develop and implement action and care plans that safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Use your professional expertise to innovate and respond creatively to complex situations. Advocate for children in care, ensuring their voices are at the centre of all decision-making. Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.

What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent. Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Successful completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).

Experience: Post-qualification experience managing a complex children and families caseload. Demonstrated success in assessing and reviewing care plans and resources. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in safeguarding.

Skills and Attributes: Strong team and partnership working abilities. Resilience and creativity in managing challenging situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage children, families, and professionals effectively. Commitment to continuous professional development and high-quality practice.

Additional Information: You must be mobile across the county of Kent and available to travel for work purposes, including transporting children and equipment to rural areas.
