About the role
You will need: A recognised Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Social Work i.e. Degree, DipSW, CQSW etc. Registration with the Care Council Experience of Social Work with children, young people with complex needs and their families. Experience of Multi-Agency working Knowledge of Principles of the Children Act, Child care legislation, guidance and national standards. Pay Details: Grade 8, SCP 26 – 30 £36,124 - £39,513 p.a. + £5000 enhancement / Grade 9, SCP 31 – 35 £40,476 - £44,711 p.a. +£5000 enhancement. Salary on appointment will depend upon qualification and experience as determined by the appointing officer. There is no automatic progression from Grade 8 to Grade 9. Hours of Work: 37 hours / Full time (unless otherwise discussed) Main Place of Work: Docks Office, Barry DBS Check Required: Enhanced
