Managing a diverse caseload, providing high-quality social work services to vulnerable children and families

Undertaking assessments, planning, and implementing social work plans, ensuring children’s welfare and safety

Working closely with other agencies to coordinate appropriate responses to assessed needs

Engaging in direct work with children, families, and carers, focusing on building resilience and reducing dependency on services

Representing Children’s Services in Family Courts and statutory panels as needed

Maintaining accurate casework records and reports to meet government and statutory requirements

Requirements of the role:

Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England

Strong knowledge of statutory legislation and experience working with children in need, protection cases, or family proceedings

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with families and other professionals

Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
