Full-time Main duties of the Social Worker: Safeguard and promote the welfare of Cheshire West and Chester’s children by delivering a high-quality service, keeping children’s wellbeing and safety at the heart of your approach. The majority of the work will be an allocated caseload of Foster Carer supervision and support. Duty cover. Facilitating support groups and presenting skills to Foster training. Ensure that all regulatory activity is of a high standard and within timescales and be an integral part of the Mainstream Team. Working closely with partners such as the Virtual School, the Intervention Hub, therapeutic services and Health. Requirements of the Social Worker: Degree or equivalent in social work. Current Social Work England registration. Significant frontline experience in Children's Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker. At least three years post-qualifying experience and have skills in supervising and supporting fostering families. Be able to travel across the Borough of Cheshire West and Chester and beyond, will have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car. Contact: This Social Worker job is advertised by Kelly Page.
