We are recruiting a Social Worker to join our Strengthening and Supporting Families Team based in Goole. We work with families in the community delivering interventions through child in need plans and child protection plans through to court work and care proceedings. The team works closely with partner agencies and family support workers to deliver holistic interventions to children, young people, and families. Working as part of a team of social workers, advanced social workers, NQSW, apprentice social workers, and a student with dedicated admin support to undertake service-specific tasks, the roles report directly to the Team Manager. The service offers blended working opportunities and provides agile working kits to allow work to be completed in council offices or from home. Day-to-day duties include: Building relationships with children, young people, and families. Assessing the needs of children, young people, and families. Co-developing plans with families and partner agencies. Providing intervention and support to children, young people, and families in the community. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has completed their ASYE and is interested in working with children, young people, and families.
