Sirona Medical is recruiting for a Mental Health Social Worker. In this challenging, but rewarding role, you will be required to act as an allocated social worker responsible for delivering a statutory social work service to those people who access or need specialist mental health services, including assessment, planning, implementing, and review. This includes being responsible for leading on specialist areas of service delivery (for example, peri-natal, early intervention, transitions, and homelessness), ensuring that key developments are communicated to colleagues and that business change is successfully implemented. We will pay £35 per hour LTD plus £150 expenses per week for anyone living outside of the LA, or £38 per hour LTD. The successful candidate will need experience in working with people with mental health issues. You will be required to travel around the Northern area of the county doing visits. Successful Applicant will have:

You will be fully qualified (DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent). Social Work England Registered. Be a car driver and have access to your own vehicle. Approved Mental Health Practitioner (it is a requirement to have AMHP qualification or to be working towards the qualification to be completed within 2 years of appointment and to maintain the level of knowledge). Practice Teacher’s Award - Desirable. Experience of working with service users with severe and enduring mental health problems in the community.
