Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for an experienced Social Worker within the Safeguarding & Support Team to work full time based in Walthamstow.

The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is up to £41,229 per annum.

Main duties: Undertake social work assessments that are purposeful, timely, and of high quality. Completion of any relevant reports to required quality standard and within timescale. Attendance at, and relevant preparation for, any meetings/reviews regarding case planning for children. Ensure all work undertaken is in line with, and as required by, the relevant legislation, guidance, or procedures. Ensure up-to-date record keeping. To undertake all activity in line with statutory requirements, legislation, procedures & guidance. Undertake all activity in line with achieving all relevant Performance Indicators and Quality standards. To undertake operational responsibilities regarding line management within the service, and across Children & Young People Services. Work actively with partner agencies. Promote Customer Care regarding all service users and external partners. Actively facilitate the participation of children, young people, and their parents. Undertake effective communication with partner agencies, parents, children & young people. Ensure accurate record keeping & completion of relevant workflows and databases to timescale. Work with a wide range of service users, sometimes in difficult and challenging circumstances. Requirements of this Experienced Social Worker job: A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
