About the Role: This role will involve supporting children and young people who are subject to Child Protection plans and Child in Need plans. Key Responsibilities: Understanding when to transfer cases from the Safeguarding team to the Permanence team Building strong and respectful working relationships with families, their support network and our partner agencies Regular assessment writing, threshold application, home visits, direct work, care planning, chairing meetings and case recording in line with our policies and procedures Ensuring that children and young people are actively involved in our work and their voice is captured in our case recording Actively taking part in reflective supervision and group supervision About You: An effective communicator Resilient worker, able to work effectively in a team or on your own, taking ownership and responsibility for the cases you are assigned Confident and competent with the relevant statutory and regulatory framework and have knowledge of an appropriate range of professional interventions Evidence of championing inclusion and diversity whilst making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people Solution-focused person with the ability to deal with sensitive issues. Qualifications: Relevant Social Work qualification Completion of ASYE Active Social Work England registration Experience: Preferably recent experience in a similar role. Important Notes: This is a hybrid role. Candidates will be expected to be in the office/community 3 times a week. At the moment we are not accepting candidates that require sponsorship. £3000 welcome payment + £3000 market supplement for this role.
