8086 We are currently recruiting a
Qualified Social Worker , or a practitioner who is about to qualify to join the newly formed Learning Disability and Autism Team. As part of a new hybrid team, this post would be predominantly covering the north of the county. The successful candidate will have recent experience working in Adult Social Care and an interest in working with adults with learning disabilities and autism. This post will provide an excellent opportunity for a Social Worker to develop their skills and knowledge and join a newly formed friendly and supportive team. Ideally, the applicant will be two years post-qualified; however, we will consider applications from Newly Qualified Social Workers and Social Work students in their final year of study. We can support you through your Assessed Year in Supported Employment through Shropshire’s fantastic ASYE programme. We offer an excellent programme of professional development, supervision, and training, and welcome applications from newly qualified Social Workers. We are seeking to recruit a well-motivated and creative practitioner who can develop the strengths of individuals and maximise their independence utilising community resources and is an excellent team player.
